Install Stata 16 -

Follow these instructions to install Stata 16 on a Windows machine. Step 1: Run the Installer

Before you start the installation process, make sure your computer meets the system requirements for Stata 16. The minimum system requirements are:

Select the flavor of Stata you licensed (Stata/MP, Stata/SE, or Stata/IC). Click Continue .

To change a path, use the sysdir set command. It's best to make these changes permanent by putting them in a profile.do file, which runs automatically every time you start Stata. If you don't have a profile.do file, you can create one in your PERSONAL directory.

Eject the mounted DMG. Go to and double-click Stata 16 . Prepare for the security warning. Follow these instructions to install Stata 16 on
